For the cocktail
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur Substitute with chocolate liqueur if needed.
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp instant coffee Regular coffee can be used but will not whip as well.
  • 2 tbsp sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 4 tbsp hot water Use fresh, hot water for better whipping.
  • Ice To serve.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. Whip with a hand mixer or whisk until frothy and light.
  2. Fill a glass with ice and pour in vodka and coffee liqueur.
  3. Gently layer the whipped coffee mixture on top.
  4. Finally, drizzle the heavy cream over the top and stir before drinking.

Notes

Serve in a clear glass to showcase layers. Garnish with cocoa powder or coffee beans for a fancy touch. Best enjoyed fresh as the foam loses texture over time.
