Preparation
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until well combined.
- Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over it.
- Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight.
Cooking
- Grill or bake chicken as desired.
- Reserve any leftover marinade for salad dressing.
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken overnight to allow flavors to seep in. Adjust the herbs according to taste.
