Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut it into 12 strips.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Cooking
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Remove the garlic knots from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining garlic butter.
- If you like, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
Notes
Garlic knots are best served warm, right out of the oven. They make a great addition to pasta dishes, salads, or soups. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
