Preparation
  1. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Garlic mushrooms can be served as a side dish with steak, chicken, or fish. They also make a great topping for toast or can be eaten on their own as a snack. For storing, let cool and keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat. For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice before serving.
