Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water Make sure it's warm, not hot, to prevent killing the yeast.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Flavor Additions
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a larger bowl, mix flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture and melted butter, and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll the dough into small balls, dip them in melted butter mixed with garlic and Parmesan, and place them in a greased bundt pan.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Let the bread sit a few minutes before serving. It pairs well with soups, salads, or can be enjoyed as a snack on its own. You can also sprinkle additional parsley on top for a fresh touch.
