Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb filet mignon Choose high-quality filet for best flavor.
  • 1 lb lobster tail Fresh lobster tails provide the best taste.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for optimal flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with a lighter cream if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Unsalted butter is preferred.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • for garnish Fresh parsley Chopped, for serving.

Method

Cooking the Meat
  1. Preheat the grill or a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the filet mignon to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Preparing the Lobster
  1. While the steak is cooking, prepare the lobster tails. Cut the tops of the shells and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill the lobster tails for 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve the filet mignon and lobster together, drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce and garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Ensure your grill or skillet is hot before cooking for a good sear. Be cautious not to overcook the lobster as it can become tough. Variations include substituting lobster with shrimp or scallops.
