  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 3/4 cup milk Can use low-fat or non-dairy milk for adjustments
  • 1/8 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) Del Monte® Green Beans, drained Or use 4 cups trimmed fresh or frozen green beans, cooked
  • 1 1/3 cups French’s® Original Crispy Fried Onions, divided

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
Mix and Bake
  1. Add the green beans to the soup mixture and stir well to combine.
  2. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and sprinkle half of the crispy fried onions on top.
  5. Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Serve the casserole hot from the oven. Pairs well with roasted meats or mashed potatoes. For an added touch, sprinkle extra fried onions on top before serving to keep them crispy. To save time, use pre-cooked fresh or frozen green beans. For added flavor, mix in grated cheese or sautéed mushrooms. Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking; just add fried onions before baking.
