Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crush the Red Velvet Oreos finely using a food processor or by hand in a Ziploc bag until no large chunks remain.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until thoroughly mixed and a dough-like consistency is formed.
  3. Roll the mixture into small, uniform balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.
  4. Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
Dipping and Decorating
  1. Melt the green candy melts according to package directions, typically in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted green candy coating, using a fork or dipping tool, ensuring it's fully coated, then gently tap off excess.
  3. Place the dipped balls back on the lined baking sheet and immediately add a single red heart sprinkle to each before the coating sets.
  4. Refrigerate the finished Grinch Oreo balls until the candy coating is completely set, then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For easier dipping, you can add a teaspoon of shortening or coconut oil to the candy melts to thin them slightly.
