Punch Ingredients
  • 1 package lemon-lime Kool-Aid (0.14 ounce)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 cups vodka Omit for a non-alcoholic version.
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 4 cups ginger ale Add just before serving for fizz.
  • Ice For serving.
  • 1 tablespoon honey For coating glass rims.
  • Red decorating sugar For glass rim decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, add the Kool-Aid, water, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and vodka. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
  2. Top off the pitcher with ginger ale and mix again.
  3. To prepare the glasses, rub honey around the rim of each glass.
  4. Hold the glasses over a bowl and pour red decorating sugar around the rim of each glass to coat it.
  5. Fill the glasses with ice and pour the punch into each glass.
  6. Stir the punch as needed, as the pineapple juice may settle at the bottom.

Notes

Chill all ingredients beforehand to keep the punch cold and refreshing without needing too much ice, which can dilute it. For different flavors, add other fruit juices like orange or cranberry juice or fresh mint leaves for a refreshing twist. Serve in clear glasses to showcase the vibrant color and enhance with festive straws or decorations.
