Ingredients

Spider Web Dip
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning (1 oz)
  • 1/4 cup Black Olives sliced (for spider body and legs)
  • Tortilla Chips for serving
Mummy Dogs
  • 8 Hot Dogs
  • 1 can Crescent Roll Dough (8 rolls)
  • 16 Edible Googly Eyes
  • Ketchup/Mustard for serving

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Serving Platter
  • Knife
  • Baking Sheet
  • Piping Bag (optional)

Method

Spider Web Dip
  1. Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning in a bowl, then spread the mixture onto a serving platter.
  2. Create a spider web design on the dip's surface using additional sour cream or a piping bag.
  3. Assemble a "spider" by placing a black olive half for the body and thin olive slices for legs on top of the web.
Mummy Dogs
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), unroll the crescent dough, and separate it into triangles.
  2. Cut each crescent triangle lengthwise into thin strips, then wrap them around the hot dogs to resemble bandages, leaving a small gap for the "face."
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown; after baking, carefully press edible googly eyes into the "face" area before serving with ketchup or mustard.
