  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 4 medium Potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet; drain any excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer sliced potatoes in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the beef and potatoes.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35-40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the casserole is bubbly.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
