Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the honey, applesauce, and mashed bananas. Mix well.
- Gradually add the banana mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the walnuts and milk.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Store in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Keep at room temperature for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
