Ingredients

Gummy Bear Ingredients
  • 1 cup Fruit Juice any flavor, no added sugar preferred
  • 4 tablespoons Gelatin Powder unflavored
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sweetener honey, maple syrup, or sugar, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon Citric Acid optional, for sour flavor

Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Gummy bear molds
  • Dropper (optional)

Method

Making the Gummies
  1. Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder over it; let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. Heat the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin completely dissolves and the mixture is smooth; do not boil.
  3. Stir in your preferred sweetener and citric acid, if using, until fully combined and dissolved.
  4. Carefully transfer the warm liquid into gummy bear molds using a dropper or small spoon.
  5. Refrigerate the molds for at least 30-40 minutes, or until the gummies are fully set and firm.
  6. Once set, gently remove the gummy bears from the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For best results, use 100% fruit juice without added sugar. The gummies can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Experiment with different juice flavors and mold shapes!
