Preparation
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, honey, and eggs.
- Knead the dough until smooth; cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Punch down the dough and shape it into small balls. Place them in a greased baking dish.
- Brush with melted butter and honey, then bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For an extra treat, serve them with a bit of additional honey or butter on the side. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week.
