  • 1 lb skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for grilling

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  2. Place the skirt steak in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  2. Remove the steak from the marinade, letting the excess drip off, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  4. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

Serve the steak sliced thinly against the grain. It pairs well with grilled vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. Drizzle leftover marinade over the top for added flavor. For extra flavor, marinate the steak for the full 4 hours.
