- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Marinade the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- Brush with remaining marinade during grilling.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
