Ingredients
  

Base Layer
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 2 cups whipped cream or cool whip
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread whipped cream evenly over the graham cracker layer.
  4. If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  6. Slice into squares and serve cold.

Notes

Icebox Slice is best served cold. Consider topping with extra whipped cream or chocolate chips for a special touch. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream.
