  • 1 cup rolled oats (old-fashioned)
  • ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Pour in the melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Using a teaspoon, drop rounded spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared sheets, leaving at least 3 inches between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 7–9 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and cookies are bubbling.
  7. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Best served warm or at room temperature. They pair well with milk or ice cream.
