  • 2 cups Cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Outer Layer
  • 1 can Refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 2 tbsp Melted butter
  • 1 tbsp Extra Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Measuring spoons and cups

Method

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
Assemble the Bombs
  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wider end of each triangle, then roll it up tightly to form a bomb shape.
Bake
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the chicken bombs seam-side down on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve
  1. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture. These bombs are also great with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
