  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still soft, then let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, do not overbake these cookies to maintain their soft, chewy texture. Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes can help prevent spreading.
