Tomatoes and Burrata
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes Use ripe cherry tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • 8 oz burrata cheese Store separately if you have leftovers to maintain texture.
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Drizzle extra if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste Add to preference.
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Let the mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Divide the marinated tomatoes onto plates and place burrata in the center.
  4. Drizzle with extra olive oil if desired and garnish with fresh basil.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

This dish can be served as a standalone appetizer, side dish, or paired with crusty bread or grilled meats. For a twist, try adding olives, red onions, or different herbs.
