Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper, ensuring an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Making the Fudge
- In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter, sweetened condensed milk, and white chocolate chips, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- Remove the pan from heat and quickly stir in the mini marshmallows, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until the marshmallows begin to soften and melt slightly.
- Gently fold 1 cup of M&M's into the warm fudge mixture.
Chilling and Serving
- Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of M&M's over the top for decoration.
- Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, or until it is completely firm. Once firm, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge from the pan, slice it into squares, and serve.
Notes
For best results, store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or in the refrigerator for longer freshness. You can customize this fudge with different types of chocolate, nuts, or other candies.
