Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 18 pieces jumbo marshmallows (3 per snowman)
  • 1 cup melted white chocolate or icing (to glue them together)
  • 12 pieces mini pretzel sticks (for arms)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips or candy pearls (for eyes and buttons)
  • 6 pieces orange mini candies (for noses)
  • 1 strip fruit gummy belts or sour strips (for scarves, cut into shorter strips)
  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate (for smiles and extra detail)
  • optional: powdered sugar (for a 'snowy' effect)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by melting the white chocolate in a bowl. You can use the microwave or a double boiler.
  2. Once melted, prepare a flat surface to build your snowmen.
Build the Snowman
  1. Take three jumbo marshmallows and stack them on top of each other.
  2. Use a little bit of melted white chocolate to stick them together.
Add Arms
  1. Insert a mini pretzel stick into each side of the middle marshmallow to create arms.
Create the Face and Buttons
  1. Use mini chocolate chips or candy pearls for eyes and buttons.
  2. Press them into the top marshmallow for the eyes and into the middle marshmallow for buttons.
Add the Nose
  1. Stick an orange mini candy into the top marshmallow for the nose.
Make a Scarf
  1. Cut the fruit gummy belt or sour strip into smaller pieces and wrap them around the neck area of the middle marshmallow.
Facial Details
  1. Using melted dark chocolate, pipe a smile on the snowman’s face.
  2. You can also add extra details as desired.
Snow Effect (Optional)
  1. If you want a snowy look, sprinkle some powdered sugar over the snowmen before serving.

Notes

Keep the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for about three days. Store in the refrigerator for longer but may become a bit sticky. Use skewers for longer arms, and let kids personalize their snowmen.
