  • 1 cup honey Use good quality honey for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Make sure it's plain and thick for a creamy texture.
  • 3 large eggs Add one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • 1 cup flour For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the honey and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture.
  6. Stir in the melted butter until fully combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and set in the center.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Slice into wedges and serve it on its own or with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A drizzle of extra honey on top can add an extra touch of sweetness. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
