Method

Preparation
  1. Start by preheating your oven to the temperature listed on your cake mix box. Line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
Making the Cupcakes
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix (or homemade ingredients), flour, sugar, softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, milk, and salt. Mix everything together until you have a smooth batter.
  2. Pour the batter evenly into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full. Bake according to the instructions on the cake mix box or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  3. Let the cupcakes cool completely.
Decorating the Cupcakes
  1. Once the cupcakes are cool, use a piping bag to put on the vanilla buttercream or cream cheese frosting.
  2. Next, take a large marshmallow and place it on top of each cupcake as the snowman head.
  3. Use mini M&Ms or sprinkles for the buttons, and place the orange sunflower seed as the nose.
  4. For the eyes and smile, use mini chocolate chips or black icing dots. For the arms, drizzle melted chocolate or use brown icing.
  5. If desired, sprinkle with sanding sugar for a beautiful 'snow sparkle.'
Serving
  1. These cupcakes are best served on a festive platter. They are perfect for holiday parties, school functions, or a fun family gathering.

Notes

Use a Cake Mix: Using a box cake mix can save time and simplify the process. But if you prefer homemade, stick to the ingredients listed. Cool Completely: Ensure your cupcakes are completely cooled before adding frosting and decorations to prevent melting. Fun Shapes: You can use different candies or toppings to customize your snowman. Get creative with whatever you have on hand!
