  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together white miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.
  4. Pour the miso glaze over the cooked green beans and toss to coat evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
