  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups M&M candies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully combined.
  5. Combine: Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Add mix-ins: Stir in M&M candies and chocolate chips if using.
  7. Shape and bake: Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  8. Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2–3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
