- In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix, milk, and instant coffee granules until well combined. Let it sit for a few minutes until it thickens.
- Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture.
- In a trifle dish or large serving dish, layer half of the crushed Oreos, followed by half of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers.
- Top with chocolate shavings or additional Oreo crumbs.
- Refrigerate for at least a few hours, or overnight, to let the flavors blend. Serve chilled.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 3-4 days. Check for freshness before serving if stored longer. Chilling overnight enhances flavor.
