Crumb Topping
- Combine dry ingredients for the topping, then mix in melted butter until large crumbs form. Set aside.
Cake
- Whisk dry ingredients for the cake. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar, then beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk to the wet mixture until just combined.
Assembly and Baking
- Pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan, evenly sprinkle crumb topping over it, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-45 minutes.

Notes
