Preparation
- Make the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and pressing it into the bottom of a pan. Refrigerate until set.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the cream cheese layer over the crust.
- Prepare the chocolate ganache by heating heavy cream and pouring it over chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth. Pour the ganache over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with additional whipped cream if desired.
- Refrigerate for several hours until set before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled straight from the fridge. You can slice into squares and serve with a dollop of whipped cream or sprinkle some chocolate shavings on top.
