Preparation
- Prepare the arepas according to package instructions or your favorite recipe.
- Once the arepas are cooked, slice them open to create a pocket.
- Fill each arepa with shredded ropa vieja.
- Top with cheese (if using), avocado slices, and salsa or pico de gallo.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
Notes
