Ingredients
  

For the Treats
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup peanut butter Use fresh peanut butter for best flavor
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Ensure they are fresh for optimal texture
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can substitute with different types of chocolate
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together sugar and corn syrup until bubbly.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, combine Rice Krispies and pour the peanut butter mixture over them, stirring until fully coated.
  4. Allow to cool slightly, then mix in chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased pan, cool completely, and cut into squares to serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Avoid refrigeration.
