  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Try to use breasts of the same size for even cooking.
  • 8 oz egg noodles Cook according to package instructions.
  • 3 tablespoons butter Divided for cooking.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste Season to your preference.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional, for added flavor and presentation.

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  2. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Cooking the Noodles
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Combining and Serving
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet, stir to combine with the noodles, and ensure everything is heated through.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  3. Serve hot, straight from the skillet.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of chicken broth if needed.
