Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 300 g Spaghetti or your preferred pasta broken in half if too long
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated, plus more for serving
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Wooden Spoon

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  2. Pour in the vegetable broth and heavy cream, then add the broken pasta, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything well to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it's fully melted and creates a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add some chopped fresh parsley or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes before serving.
