  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 Lemon sliced or juiced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dill fresh or dried, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then brush them lightly with olive oil. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and optional dill.
Baking
  1. Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and top each fillet with a lemon slice if desired.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the baked salmon from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

Adjust baking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets. Salmon is cooked when it flakes easily with a fork. For extra flavor, marinate the salmon for 30 minutes before baking.
