- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic paste, ginger paste, brown sugar, white pepper, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced onion, celery, and shredded cabbage to the skillet. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and fragrant.
- Stir in the chow mein noodles and seasoning packet, then pour the prepared sauce over everything. Toss until well combined.
- Allow the mixture to cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the noodles are heated through and begin to crisp up.
- Remove from heat and top with reserved sliced scallions. Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve hot and fresh with your favorite protein. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat before serving.
