Ingredients

Knots
  • 1 lb Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Garlic Butter Topping
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Small saucepan
  • Pastry brush

Method

Preparation & Baking
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, then cut it into 12 even strips.
  3. Tie each dough strip into a knot and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown.
Garlic Butter & Finishing
  1. While the knots are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, then add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, grated Parmesan, and salt.
  3. Generously brush the warm, baked garlic knots with the prepared garlic butter mixture before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a subtle kick.
