Ingredients
  

Dessert Cup Layers
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1 cup strawberry or grape jelly
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional) To adjust consistency
  • Fresh fruit for topping (optional) Strawberries or bananas work well.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
  3. In small cups or jars, layer the crushed graham crackers at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of the peanut butter mixture on top of the graham crackers.
  5. Next, add a layer of jelly over the peanut butter filling.
  6. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with a jelly layer on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve the PB&J Dessert Cups chilled for the best taste. You can add fresh fruit on top for added color and flavor.
Storage
  1. Store any leftover PB&J Dessert Cups in the refrigerator, covered tightly. They can stay fresh for up to three days.

Notes

For a smoother filling, beat the cream cheese well before mixing in the peanut butter. To achieve a thinner consistency for the peanut butter mixture, add a little milk. Feel free to use different flavors of jelly to mix things up.
