Ingredients

  • 4 pieces peaches, pitted and sliced Choose ripe but firm peaches for the best flavor.
  • 1 can crescent rolls Fully wrap each peach slice to avoid leakage.
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Mix with additional spices for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Can experiment with other spices like nutmeg.
For Serving
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream Optional, but recommended for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll each peach slice inside a crescent roll to form dumplings.
  3. Place the dumplings in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, water, and cinnamon until well combined, then pour over the dumplings.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.
  2. Drizzle some of the buttery sauce from the baking dish over the dumplings for extra sweetness and flavor.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. Reheat in the oven at low temperature. You can also use other fruits like apples or berries for variation.
