  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the rolled oats, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  8. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use ripe (spotty) bananas. Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
