  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs Use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs for a gluten-free version.
For the chocolate layer
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips For a sweeter flavor, use milk chocolate instead.
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil Helps to smooth out the chocolate layer.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and graham cracker crumbs until well mixed.
  2. Press the mixture into a lined 8x8 inch baking dish evenly.
Making the chocolate layer
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
Setting
  1. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set.
Serving
  1. Cut into bars and enjoy! These bars are best served cold.

Notes

Store these bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage. Use parchment paper for easy removal from the baking dish.
