Preparation
- Rinse and trim the green beans.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and blanch the green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Drain and immediately plunge into ice water to stop cooking.
Sautéing
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the blanched green beans and sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave until warmed through.
