Preparation
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat; add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat, then stir in pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gently fold in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and let cool completely before cutting into squares.
