- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth; add a few drops of red food coloring if desired.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping and 1/2 cup of crushed peppermint candies into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
- Pour the pie filling into the pre-made graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm; garnish with additional whipped topping and crushed peppermint candies before serving.
Notes
For best results, allow the pie to chill for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight, to set completely.
