Ingredients
  

Filling Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
Wrapper Ingredients
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers Follow package instructions for folding.
  • oil for frying Use enough oil to deep fry the egg rolls.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the cabbage, carrot, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger, and stir to combine. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the mixture is heated through.
  3. Allow the filling to cool slightly.
Assembly
  1. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold and roll according to package instructions.
Frying
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with dipping sauces like sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
