Ingredients
  

Bark base
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips One whole bag
  • 8 oz pretzels Half of a 16-oz bag
Caramel layer
  • 11 oz Kraft caramel One whole bag
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
Finishing touches
  • Sea salt For sprinkling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between each time until smooth.
  3. Spread about 2/3 of the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  4. Top the chocolate with the pretzels. Don’t worry about them being perfectly placed; just gently press them down onto the chocolate.
Caramel Layer
  1. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramels with the heavy cream in the microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring until well combined.
  2. Drizzle the melted caramel evenly over the pretzels.
Finishing Touches
  1. Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate over the caramel layer and sprinkle some flaky sea salt on top.
  2. Chill in the fridge until set, or let it set at room temperature for about 2 hours.
  3. Once set, cut the bark into pieces and serve.

Notes

Use high-quality chocolate chips for a richer taste. Feel free to mix in nuts or other candies to customize the bark. Make sure the pretzels are pressed firmly into the chocolate to hold them in place.
