Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat, then drain any excess fat and add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes until it begins to wilt.
Baking
- Add the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, salt, pepper, dried oregano, and brown sugar to the skillet; bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the entire mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for 40 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
Notes
