Preparation
- Start by adding the sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and ground flaxseed to a medium-sized bowl. Stir well.
- Next, add the salt, dried herbs, onion powder, garlic powder, and nutritional yeast to the mixture. Stir again until everything is combined.
- Pour in the olive oil and warm water. Mix well until fully combined. Cover the bowl and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to thicken.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
- Pour the seed mixture onto the tray and pat it down evenly without any holes.
- Brush the top with a bit of olive oil and place the tray in the oven. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks. If they become soft, crisp them up in a warm oven for a few minutes. Experiment with different herbs and spices for flavor variation.
