Spicy Chicken Wraps

These quick and easy spicy chicken wraps are perfect for a weeknight meal or a packed lunch. Tender chicken breast is tossed in a fiery sauce and wrapped with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients
  

Chicken Mixture
  • 2 large Chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp Cayenne pepper or more, to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Hot sauce e.g., Sriracha
Wraps & Fillings
  • 4 Large tortillas
  • 2 cups Lettuce shredded
  • 1 medium Tomato diced
  • 0.25 cup Red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice

Method
 

Prepare Chicken
  1. In a bowl, toss chicken strips with olive oil and all spices (chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, pepper).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in hot sauce.
Assemble Wraps
  1. Warm tortillas slightly according to package directions.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and lime juice for a simple spread.
  3. Spread a thin layer of the mayonnaise mixture on each warm tortilla.
  4. Distribute the cooked spicy chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced red onion evenly among the tortillas.
  5. Tightly roll up each tortilla to form a wrap. Serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to add other fillings like avocado, shredded cheese, or bell peppers for extra flavor and crunch.
