Cake Mixture
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup frosting Any flavor of your choice
Coating and Decoration
  • 1 cup melted candy (white chocolate or candy melts)
  • to taste sprinkles Optional for decoration
Other
  • as needed lollipop sticks

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bake the vanilla cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Insert lollipop sticks into each ball and freeze for about 30 minutes.
Coating
  1. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy and let excess drip off.
  2. Decorate with sprinkles if desired and let set on parchment paper.

Notes

Store cake pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Refrigerate for up to a week in a container to avoid moisture. Experiment with different cake flavors and toppings.
